Austrian Pottery and Vienna Porcelain in particular has become very sought after. Especially items from the period after WWII (Nachkriegszeit) are of interest since these dishes were used extensively and it is hard to find mint pieces.
Lilien Porzellan, for example, has undergone an amazing price swing. Up to the 1990's people were throwing their porcelain away: they did not want to be reminded of those 'poor' times. Today we can appreciate the fine lines and the good design that underlies those rare pieces.
